.....and it is still hard for me to even talk about her.

My tribute to Sal, written last year

Yesterday ,I took the remains of her foal, ozzie, and placed them near her grave.. they are now both bathed in the early morning light,, on the little hill.

ozzie was euth'd on his first birthday, due to a hernia, found at castration, and due to him being born premature :D he was my 'cuddlepony'.... and , years on, I miss him, and remember his last evening, standing proud, with the setting sun lighting up his mane and his gorgeous eyelashes.... I remember too, our last hug, and his poor sweaty cheek pressed to mine........

No more horses.... their loss hurts more than the dogs

She sounded like a true 'once in a lifetime' friend. They don't come along often.

It's so lovely that Sal and Ozzie are together once more.

They are with you in your heart every minute of everyday.

Very very sad persephone.

Unfortunately I too have endured the loss of a horse. I understand how it tears your heart out.

My thoughts are with you on the day you are remembering.
