Kids are off to the grandparents that weekend, so I'll be coming, along with Snik and Indi, and perhaps Kennedy, if Heather would like me to bring him and if he's not homed by then? Pele has been very sick She started to vomit about 2am on Thursday. I rang the emergency vet around 4am when I noticed blood and took her in. They ran lots of tests - blood, x-rays etc. She spent 3 days in hospital on a drip - fluids, antibiotics, anti-nausea, pain - and came home yesterday afternoon, with a Fentanyl pain patch to be removed next Tuesday. The vets don't know what caused it, they are calling it a Gastric Upset and say that the vomitting may have cause a broken blood vessel. I'm wondering if she ate something at agility training other than possum poo, but will never know. It's been really scary and I've felt so helpless. I was worried that I could lose her She's still not eating and turns her nose up at roast chicken, so she's a very sick little girl :p Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But we should be able to bring her and our other dog jan/feb. - Might even bring my Dad's cocker spaniel...she is turning into a bit of a grumpy old lady and needs some socializing.
