I wondered where you guys nicked off too! :D

Dory is totally pooped out, she had a ball AGAIN. So pleased to see so many people and puppies!

Miss Squish's little foster cuties did so well. I was impressed, and Bentley stole my heart.

I apologise for Dory being such a noisy, poop stirring little ratbag. I think she thinks you guys organise the whole

event just for her. :o

And Ruger...OMG....Daughter and I were in heaven with Rottie leans, we miss Rotties. Thanks Miss Squish...and thanks Ruger, look forward to seeing him again...and good luck with specialist appointment!!!

We're home. Akira is zonked - she's fast asleep on the floor, she didn't even make it to her beanbag and she slept the whole way home in the car. :o Sorry to everyone she more than likely annoyed - she's a little ratbag.

The foster puppies looked like they were going so well after a while. And Ruger is absolutely beautiful. Also it was great to finally meet Jaana. :D

Great day everyone.

Well I had fun and so did the dogs. But all three of us are now buggered.

Dory escaped my dog napping attempts again...safe for another month! :o

Thanks DBT for bringing your clippers! I really appreciated it, and I think Peggie will too [when she gets over the injustice of being bundled into a van and being clipped]

Great meet - nice and small.

OMG Jaana!!! I am SO in love :D And Ruger...well he's just stolen my heart! Heather, it's hard to even imagine he is sick. He seemed to be fine. You have a very hard decision to make.

My kids were extremely annoying - they won't be coming again, but thanks Shannon for keeping them occupied! My son especially wanted to take home Eve and both pugs :o

Well my EH is feeling much better since upchucking some minced clothes peg she ate the other day. Glad I fed her chicken and rice - it somehow stayed down. She got same again tonight since I have only sighted a tiny (for her) poop today. Hoping things will be more substantial tomorrow, though in the jungle that is my backyard at the moment, it's possible it's out there somewhere.

She ate another post from the 2x2 Weavers today too. Sigh. I'll start using the metal rods, bet she doesn't eat those.

I'm feeling much the same (bleah), but naughty food (roast chicken leg, potato and zuccini) hasn't made any major difference which is promising.

Hi Guys....Looks like Dory has Kennel Cough. :dancingelephant: She started coughing last night.

Just thought I would let you know, cos apart from being at the last meet the only dogs she has socialised with was puppy pre-school the Monday after the meet.

Hope all your puppers are okay.

In all my years of owning dogs, showing and trialling this is only the second time I've had a dog with Kennel Cough. I hates it already.

I'd be inclined to blame puppy pre-school, especially if any of the puppies came from a shelter where it's hard to eradicate, or a pet shop window - cos it's common in puppy farms.

I guess it would depend whether any of the other puppy owners had come straight from shop to pre school or had a break. I had a month break before we started puppy pre-school because I had other committments on the night they were running puppy pre-school at the time.

Not blaming anyone. Just thought I'd better let people know that she has come down with it, because she hasn't really been out and about that much with other dogs.

I'm inclined to believe it was PPS rather than the meet, although it was the last class and none of them had been ill prevously. But then I know a couple of them

have been out and about.

Who knows, really. I just hope everyone elses dogs are okay. I'm sitting here at work listening to her get worse and worse. :dancingelephant:

She's gotta take some cough medicine which she hates...she went and ran and hide behind my daughter when she saw me with the syringe. And she is on antibiotics too. Had to listen to her cough get progressively worse at work today. Cough Meds have helped heaps.

I really hope none of your dogs have got it or get it.

She's all tucked up into bed now. After wrestling with Oscar the Shark Slayer (kitty).
