Kirislin
There's been several posts written about this very problem, http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?showtopic=169155 it's not as unusual as one might think. It can be dangerous for him though, if he does it again, dont hesitate to give him a helping hand, just make sure he doesn't get to like it. ellz
Just a little warning, if your boy dog has long hair around his digit, make sure that when it finally does retract, it doesn't take any hair inside the shaft with it. Had a dog that did this many, many moons ago and the hair scratched his donger and it got infected. Not pretty and not at ALL fun to treat! Kirislin
I dont think i am ever going to get a boy dog again! yeah! people often ask what's the difference with boy and girl dogs when they're thinking of buying a puppy. You never hear mention of this little gem do you???? ;) Something that's not divulged when we're making our decisions.

GoldD
I dont think i am ever going to get a boy dog again! I've got 3 boys After reading your thread Teebs I cant wait to get home to make sure the little fella doesn't have his little fella out again like your poor boy did, and thanks to ellz I'll be checking on hair that may have gone inwards, although he isnt long haired and he does get a trim in that area, but hey after last night I am ready for anything. ;)
badboyz
I've always had a boy dog and never had this happen when it was not supposed to. Maybe my boys know when it is appropriate and when not???
