4 Paws
A friend mentioned she was thinking about trying the Vets All Natural Mix that you mix with mince and asked if there were any different brands around.I have just done an internet search and come up with a couple of different ones and wondered if anyone had tried them? This is the Vets All Natural one http://www.vetsallnatural.net/products.html And I have found Sojo's mix http://www.yourpetessentials.com/sojospetfood And lastly this one on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Super-FAST-Natural-...%3A1%7C294%3A30
Erny
Where there is an option I would rather the Australian made and produced brand. I don't think Sojo's is, is it? With the second one (the "Superfast Natural Home Dog Food") .... that's more the additive they are selling, isn't it? With you making up the actual food mix? oonga
This stuff is green anddoesn't really look quite as porridge like as the VAN and obviously has less ingredients and no veggies but its a sort of similar product. It Says 100% Australian product on the website. Also an instant soak not overnight. http://www.innawinner.com/e-commerce-solut...-catalog14.html Then there is Browns animal herbs that is much more like the VAN in appearance, but is an instant soak rather than overnight like the VAN: http://www.browns-animal-herbals.com.au/43-natural-dog-food

I buy the 10kg bag. I do it a bit differently though. I have a cook up once a week and when it's cooked, I turn off the heat, add the Phuds, stir it through, then put the lid back and leave it to swell and soak in then put it in containers. My dogs always have firm stools and they look to be in fantastic health. Edited July 22, 2009 by Kirislin
JulesP
I have used the Phuds in the past too. The dogs love it. Can't report any coat changes etc as the dogs are in good shape. Their poos are looser but they aren't stinky so it hasn't bothered me. You put boiling water on it and leave for about 5 mins.

Kuntooki
I would also be interested in seeing a list of ingredients as it doesn't say on the website. Can someone who uses it type the ingredients up please.
Erny
I have used the Phuds in the past too. You put boiling water on it and leave for about 5 mins. Does it say why "boiling water" ? Would boiling water deplete some of the goodness? Is it cooled down sufficiently in 5 mins? Had never heard of Phuds. Where's it made and is it from local ingredients? Do you have to cook the dog's meal? Sorry for the 20 questions - it began as one, but then the other questions popped up in my mind as I typed.
