Lip Fold

Wondering if anyone out there in Dog Lover Land has had any luck with Lip Fold Fungal!

I have an old dog that I have been trying to keep free for this problem for a long time with out any real success. I do know that they can be operated on but before that has to happen thought I would inquire just in case.

Hi Colin, if you get yourself some natural Apple Cider Vinegar from the health food shop, and use it neat on a cotton wool ball to clean all around the mouth and in the lip folds, you should be able to fix the problem.

We have had 3 Beagles come through that needed to have the surgery as their owners had let the infection go to far, since having the surgery they are no longer in pain and no sign of infection has returned, the infection was acually quite deep and the areas rancid to say the least. Apple Cider Vinegar, green tea, dermotic etc are all great in early stages and as preventative's but once the infection has got right in the lip folds and is creating issues sometimes surgery is the better option.

We tried all other options before surgery but they were in pain, had trouble chewing bones, the smell of infection coming from their mouths was shocking, they were constantly rubbing their mouths on the carpet and wouldnt let anyone touch their faces; we now have 3 very happy, healthy, loveable little rogues who will happily let you touch their faces and mouths!

If you happen to have any Listerine in your cupboard at home, that works too.
