Sutherland Shire Dog Training Club

I was going to go down to sutherland shire dog training club in the morning and check it out. My boys teeth wont be good for another couple of months for the show ring, so thought I could enjoy something else with him. He is 5 months old now.

I can take both pedigree and non pedigree dogs? And if I enter a competition with a pedigree and win something, its gets logged onto his papers?

Does anyone here train with Sutherland?

You can train and compete in obedience, agility, tracking, dances with dogs etc with both pedigree and non pedigree dogs. To compete, you and the dog must be a member of DogsNSW. You don't need to be a member of DogsNSW just to train (I only joined this year ), but you will need to be a member of whatever club you choose to go to. I assume your pedigree dog already is since you are showing him. Non pedigree dogs can go on the Associate Register. If you get a title on your dog through competing in ANKC competitions, you can get his title added to his papers.

Haven't actually trained there but am contemplating it.Have been to their club for the recent Rally Seminar and saw the Sunday morning training and it looks quite well run.Mrs Dog is one of the instructors I think
