memyselfNi
I have a 7mth energetic, structurally sound, and outgoing young Whippet. Bred to show, but he wants so much more to do......kinda doesn't have a 'stop button' Ideas on what we can do, particularly due to his personality and age would be appreciated. I very interested in sporting such as jumping, agility etc (he would LOVE flyball, but to no avail here in WA) My main question would be in what order....I am worried I will become to over anxious and, myself, dart off in too many different directions of challenges for him. I do recall a previous post on dogs learning 1 or 2 disciplines/sports at a time.
ness
Agility and Jumping are one and the same. Not where were you live but if your any where near the canine grounds ACWA - Agility dog club of WA have fantastic foundation programs which you can commence from the age of 12 weeks. They train on a Tue night I think. About to head off to lunch but I can find the website when I return.
