PMSL :D

I look forward to those texts - maybe kristy and deb can stick to the results and you can tell me how much fun your having without me and the happy Havs.

and yes it is funny we were originally going to get a litte hatch but may now get a commodore wagon LOL

Well I had my first major cock up today... I had a feeling that I shouldn't go and I should've listened to it.. it just wasn't meant to be my day.

I didn't leave my gazebo because I didn't want to miss my call, but as it turns out, I didn't get in early enough to let the steward know I was there (I normally go 2 or 3 breeds before mine). Because the weather was so shitty there were apparently a lot of no shows, and those no shows included the entire contingent of the two breeds before mine.

Between hearing the steward call for Japanese Chin and collecting Lola to go to the ring we had been called absent.

So that was show entry, petrol, an hour and a half drive and show prep for naught. I've also given up tomorrows show as a bad joke as I'm really just not in the mood.

Won't be doing that again.

LOTG - sorry to hear of your experience. I can relate to that - have tried so hard to be in the right place but sometimes haven't made it.

My baby Dragon got Puppy In Group yesterday!!!  I was so proud of him, tail and all - he is acting more and more like a "big boy" show dog now, and behaved beautifully! This weekend has been an awesome experience for him with lots of practice and just hanging out, and I've been lucky enough to be getting some great tips and help with him so I am really glad we made the trip.

We were hard to miss we were directly opposite the canteen right infront of the gundog ring!

No wins for us but we were happy to cheer on the others in their excitement...

Bec...mum threatened sparky on friday night she said "stop being naughty or we will throw you on one of the noisey trains and then we will ring Bec and she can pick you up when you hit newie and have baby sit you for the weekend... " his response was to throw himself upside down and make crazy sparky noises :)

We...well... I lost Sparky on the thursday night :birthday: he was there then he wasnt then some kids were walking this dog, and I said to kristy hey look is that other another tailed aussie...kristy was like wow yeah I think it is...the kids got closer and tunrs out its sparky...hes so sneaky...no idea how he snuck away so fast :o funniest thing was it took kristy a little bit to recognise her own dog :) was dark thou so I guess she can be excused :)

I have thought of so many breeds

but I am thinking especially after talking to some of the judges at the Show that I will go for a breed that i know and that i know i will have two mentors in it. It's also a great motivation for me to get fit as i have to run around the ring. A golden retreiver :)

Okay i'm not sure that i looked there Dotty - i looked everywhere else but didn't think to look there - lol
