Lola only got BIS in the Open show... a gorgeous Maltese won BIS in the champ show... and boy did it deserve it!

The coat on the Malt was amazing!

This was the inaugural show... hopefully they keep them coming... I had an awesome day (obviously)

now I think its time for a lola photo update - dying to see her coat!

And yeah I heard it was one of the Cutlers malts who took BIS for the champ show so I can imagine the coat!

Hi all, I have hit the show ring a few times now in group 1 (previously shown group 6) and am wanting to know where else I can get a pin on/small treat bag that's prettier than the usual. I have seen people with sequin ones but each time I have been at KCC, the stalls dont have them. Also am wanting a matt/bed for my 2 berth crate, where is best place to get these? Any help would be great.

I will try to get some really recent photos of her soon. This is the latest one I have of her:

But I think it's about a month or so ago... Hopefully I'll have the piccies with the judge from Saturday soon

Next time if you want to come down for it let me know, I'm sure we can work something out.

I can't help you with the pretty treat bag, but I bought the $8 beds from k-mart and they fit nicely in my trolley, 1 in each berth and they are so cozy for my bare bum girl.

I'm sort of a newbie, been going to shows for about 20 years now and handling for or watching mum and dad, but have just got a dog of my own to show.

Tell you what, it's pretty nerve racking when it's your own dog on the end of the lead and not someone elses

I have finally entered Alera in some shows. Still about a month until she starts so I hope we are ready by then.

:) Which is the first show? Very exciting stuff!!! Look forward to seeing you and your little ladies :swear:

Shaar, I completely agree! Now i didn't grow up in showing or anything, but when I'm occasionally handed the lead for someone else I am so much more relaxed and while when you're awarded with something nice you are pleased to have helped out a friend, it is no where near the feeling of when it is your own.... nor are the nerves!

At the Melbourne Royal last Thursday Fletcher was awarded 1st Intermediate Dog and Reserve Dog Challenge - super excited as there were over 70 entries! He's all bathed and excited again now because tomorrow it's Puppy Sweepstakes day! (which we qualified for back in January when he was a puppy :swear: )

Here he is being a good boy (particularly compared to how he reacted last year on the fake grass!)

And afterward with his ribbons and things :swear:

And.. just cos... Fletcher and Hugo showing their colours!

Was hoping you'd say that! I just sent my entries today to Southern Cross so *fingers crossed* that they accept them a little late... SEE YOU THERE!

Hi all, We've just entered our first ever show so we have less than a month to get ready and we're really not ready  . I feel a little odd since he's never been shown and he's in junior class and i have virtually no clue on how to show. I'll be getting some one on one training this Friday so we'll see how we go.

Wish me luck.

Hey pixie good to see you hitting the ring! One on one training will be good for you, its really not that hard but it does take abit of training outsiode the show ring and some dogs are naturals and some arnt...wheres your boy from?
