Bindii
Lovely to hear that us newbies are doing well in the ring, titles seem to be coming along and some already achieved, great work team-newbie!! Best wishes for Hooter's first show, Sammy Where is it? Albury? Coz we're heading up tomorrow! (Should be packing right now, working 7-2 tomorrow and then racing out the door to get there before it's absoloutely freezing!) Evolving I so look forward to Alera hitting her first show, when is it?? Very exciting stuff! Have you started attending show training together? Best of luck with it all! Well it has been a year and one week since we hit out first show on the 26/7/2009 and it is with pleasure that I can today say that my boy is just 16 points from his Champion title after taking out 2 Best in Groups on the weekend, and on Sunday he furthered it that little bit with a RUNNER UP BEST IN SHOW!! I am so happy and never in the world thought that we could do this. Certainly not a year ago, when I was tip toeing, quick-stepping and fumbling around the ring with my not-quite groomed Samoyed minor puppy! I'm still no expert and often i still fall apart out there in the ring, but last Sunday it all came together beautifully and I was just stoked. Nevafollo
I saw Fletchers win else where but previously forgot to comment! Well done! Such a great acheivement for some one who only started a year ago! And for such a young dog who probably wont be at his true best for another 12months+... I can see a BIS show in Fletchers future for sure! On the topic of newbie handlers doing well, at rylstone the other week we watched a lovely minor standard poodle take RUBIG this was his first show in minor AND his dad had only just started showing him I think it was his first weekend of showing or something like that and he was totally shocked to win which was awesome to see. Much better than the same old same old who dont even smile when they win! Edited August 4, 2010 by sammy_ballerina

The Ark
Congratulations Bindii & Fletcher - amazing achievement!!! He looks beautiful! Just a little note of my own - my special Chester Bear titled today with an 8 point DCC and RUBOB. Very proud of my little man, who still has some maturing to do so I look forward to keeping him out and about as he grows. I might post this in the min pin thread too, as nothing much ever happens in there...... Anyway, just wanted to share with the people who have been along for the ride. Many thanks to those of you who have dragged Chester out of his trolley and handled him in the ring for me at times when I've been way up the other end of the ground with the big fluffies. Evolving
Evolving I so look forward to Alera hitting her first show, when is it?? Very exciting stuff! Have you started attending show training together? Best of luck with it all! Ok I have been lazy about entering her in a show. I think I know what I am doing now in entering her so that is a plus. I should send off the first one soon but I don't think her first show will be until October or September. I want to enter one lappiemum is also doing so I can have some moral support on the day then I may spread my wings so to speak and go out to others on my own. I will be taking her to how training maybe even starting this week as I am back on day shifts and have a life again. It all depends on how long it takes me to get home from work to see if I can make it back out to bulla without having to rush to much and give the other dogs some time to play before I have to rush off. We are working on stand and I have taken her to a show to get into the atmosphere. She took to it well. Congrats again for Fletcher. Yay for Chester the ark. Wyntervale
Gratz Bindii & Fletcher that is fantastic!!!!!!!!! Evolving.. let me know which one you're doing... if I'm going to be there I'll try to come cheer you on (as long as it doesn't clash with Lowchen) and can generally be someone who you can hang out with. I think the first may be Romsey followed by the working dog/ vic womens dog club and sunbury treble. I may squish in Seymore/Yarrawonga but If I do that I may be on my own. I may just wait a while and see how Alera goes at show training before running off and entering everything under the sun.
Gemelo
Peach has been going great guns as well lately, getting Bcc and then RuBOB over a grand champion  So she is now on 37 points! Which of us Novacastrians are heading out to Hillsborough this Saturday? Hoping Deb will be there to see how big Stella has grown! Is she up into minor yet? Peach went lame again last Sunday but she was looking fine tearing around and jumping over Sparky this morning so fingers crossed she stays well and we will be there! If not, it'll just be OH with the pointee because I'll be at home with the shits
The Ark
Hey Dotty, Yep I'm planning to be there - both shows now as my 6yo's soccer isn't on (yay!) so she can come with me. Stella is still in Baby until 10th Sept. Aurea is in season and I was still going to show her but she will be smack bang in the middle of it so she can stay at home. Hope Peachie stays well so we see you there!

The Ark
Nawww, thanks Ash & Bec. Very proud of the boy. I'm going to rest him on and off for a while now (not completely though) so I can get some working dog action. I think Chester is a slow-maturing type, so I'm looking forward to see what a bit more time will do for him. Wow I can't believe Niles is in Minor already! And can't wait to meet Martha too, and catch up with Toby & Jazz, get to meet Flynn too (finally!).... so much happening. Should be a great day!
