Nevafollo
Thanks for your help.......I'll be coming from Raymond Terrace way (I live out past Maitland)...is the RAAF roundabout you mention off the freeway? Can you also let me know how much shade is there. As I don't have a gazebo as yet I would like to set up my crate & rug etc under some trees...otherwise I may need to bring a large umbrella.Cheers Ahh, I come from Kurri Kurri so would go a different way to you. I turn off the Pacific Hwy at Tomago (just over the Hexam bridge) and go down Tomago Rd/Cabbage Tree Rd to Williamtown Airport. Do you know Richardson road that goes under the freeway and follows the edge of Grahamstown Dam? I think it's the first exit off the freeway Raymond Terrace/Nelsons Bay. There are two ways you can go: 1. Follow Richardson Rd right through to the big roundabout at Campvale, and turn left onto Medowie road. Follow Medowie Rd to the next roundabout and turn left onto Ferodale Rd, then left again at the next roundabout to the showground. 2. Follow Richardson Rd past the picnic grounds/pontoon at Grahamstown Dam and turn left onto a pokey little road that continues along the shoreline, this road is Grahamstown Rd. Take the first left onto Fairlands Rd and follow it to the end. It Tee intersects onto Ferodale Rd - turn right. Follow Ferodale Rd untill you hit the first roundabout and turn right into the showgrounds As for shade, there is plenty of trees along the edge of the showground, but nothing on the field (the show is held on a footy oval). ETA: Bring mozzie repellent! They are really bad in the afternoon and into the night. Thanks for the tip I loathe mozzies!! I always have aerogard in the car, will be bringing the mozzie coils and insectrepelling sunscreen too Now since I will have the 2 legged brats too and hubby is there anywhere to get dinner like a hanmburger and chips or anything close by?? Is there going to be a canteen? We are spolied at hillsborough home is like 5 mins away so is maccas subway and more imprtantly decent coffee. I get to sit with the pup while hubby takes the kids for time out LOL Our 3x3 might seem a little small is there is no escape!! Is there a playground there?? silly questions I know! Do most go ring side or under the trees? bec oh and jess there is NO question medowie will be the place to be!! since they have all bailed on deb and I and are going to necknock instead :-( your so mean at me!we will be there after lunch! The shops are across the road and there is a good cafe thing they have pizza's and fish and chips ect!We arnt camping anymore, too much stuff going on really! Jessm
There are a fair few of us going to be out the tomorrow lic, if not to compete or visit...I think there should be a few babies checking it out?? If you stumble past the utility ring come and say hello to me and the monster. If you need a good laugh our time in the ring is sure to do it for you too I haven't had time to go out and put tarps down...I broke my car the other day running up some womans ass...right out front my house lol..So am having a hard time finding peoples to borrow. I might just have to take my chances with driving the bomb out the tomorrow She's still driveable, just a little smashed lol.
The Ark
I am really looking forward to tomorrow, even though I have nothing to show!! Bec & Ash & Jess - is it okay if I bum a square metre from someone to hang out for the show? I promise I'll bring my own chair, and pay in puppy cuddles! Greg is going to bring Tally for a look for a while too, so we can pay with 2 puppy cuddles!! See you there! Deb

Deb My shade is dodgy, and squishy, but if you wanna do the rounds you're quiet welcome! Bec and Ash's set up is much more luxurious ..Who knows when i'll be able to afford a new gazebo now that I have this womans car to fix and a new car to buy (damn I wish I had insurance!) I definitely want to cuddle with your puppies! I think i'll spend my fair share of time around the toy ring trying to cure my boredom...so expect more visitors again! ETA: It doesn't matter if you miss Leo, trust me. We are so completely useless. Well, mostly me! I'll probably give a lot of people a good laugh Edited February 26, 2010 by Jessm

I am only bringing my baby Maja along for a look so will probably come in the morning. I'm going to bring the crate, rug etc...just so I can see how to manage it all by myself for when I go out to actually show her next month. Do you suggest bringing an umbrella? I will look for a gazebo for next month...it looks like to OzTrail ones are the most popular? Hope I catch up with a few of you...if you are seeing a woman with a rather unruly Bloodhound puppy pulling on the end of a lead...that will be me!! The damage to my car will cost more to fix then it's worth, so I have fingers crossed on getting this loan, and I have my eye on a Santa fe ...Or something of the sort, but have fallen in love with this one particular beast And by general observation by a know all male friend, this womans car is going to cost me around $2000 . Which, I could be worse I guess..So much for saving for a holiday though! HH i'm sure you could pitch under with one of us, if you didn't want to take all the extra gear, my shade is dodgy, but can fit another large crate with it next to the monsters, if you need it...that's if I get it up  .. Unless you wanted to set up in your own ring. Which ring are you in?! I should probably know that

I didn't stick around for all that long (about 2 hours) but it was great to catch up with a few of you. I had a lovely shady spot under a tree, so I decided just to set the crate up there. Maja still got a chance to see everything as well as do a few laps around the field....it's such great socialisation without the pressure of actually showing. Hopefully I will get to Hillsborough on Tuesday evening. It will be my first day back at work after 3 weeks of annual leave so I will have to see what type of mess the office is in...may have to stay back if I'm swamped!! Hopefully I will be there and see a few of you!!
