angelsophie
Ahhhhhhhhhhh theres my big squishy toy!! Tell Leo I miss him I miss my friends so were hanging out to the next show guys!! While I may have sacrificed friday shows I am LOVING my new job and hours. So much less stress! so anyone keen for extra training or a socialisation for the puppies I would be keen to meet up. Alex, Toby and I have been trying to get healthy LOL and have been doing some great walks on the foreshore, warners bay ect. Toby is gaining weight finally and coat change is continuing here too Jess - only for toby it involves hideous matts hours after you have brushed him! We seem to be through the worst of it but I think I may just steal chester bear as my next show dog - great little dog, brown, short coat - watch out deb Oh and Hunterhound - naughty ones are the most FUN!! at least thats what I keep telling myself! Jessm
We would be up for extra training/socialisation/whatever. Seeing as our training days are over it just all depends on work, the worst about not having regular days!! But if you organise let me know and i'll hopefully be able to make it sometime!! Leo is getting fit at work- he loves coming to work with me lol.. He is no longer in with the little dogs but has moved into the big group! Yesterday I took him, all of the other dogs were running around with these giant sticks, chewing on them with each other and what not, and the poor boy doesn't have very good coordination and everytime he tried to grab the stick out of someones mouth it would go up his nose or in his ear or somewhere awkward....so the little man went behind the tree, and came back around prancing, as proud as punch, with this little tiny twig I couldn't help but laugh at him

Maja is heaps of fun...but being a Bloodhound, very strong willed and possibly not the sharpest tool in the shed. Socialisation as well as some handling training will be excellent. Where abouts at Hillsborough do you go, will I just see everyone when I drive in? Do you have them in flat collars or show slip leads? Sorry..I'm always full of questions! angelsophie
collar is up to you but traing on the collar you plan to use in the ring is wise I was told to only show train in the show collar and social walks in his flat collar. He does know the difference for training. When you go in the driveway it will be the group of cars straightaway when you go in cant miss it it will be the only cluster of cars along the road side of the rings. Well all be standing around chatting - dont be shy walk up and say hi! Like I said tobys a nutter and always up for play. Bec

GoldenWei
Well I have taken the plunge, I have entered Willow in a couple more shows. I didn't put her in the Bathurst Royal, but her first show will be Castle Hill Ag, followed by Liverpool the week after, I figured I need as much practice as I can get while in baby puppy

Akayla
Hello fellow show people Just filling out the show entries. Really really stupid question. I co - own Blaez so when they ask for owners details on that Ozentries site I do like breeders name/my name? Does that sound right? Its been so long since I have shown anything. Except for the strong willed bit it sounds like kite also! Definately not the sharpest too in the shed! Although cause shes a pointer her regal good looks make up for her lack of smarts! :D
The Ark
Thanks for the Leo photo, Jess - he is looking gorgeous!! I think if I met him and a pug (thanks for your cute photo too, Sammy) on a dark, dark night I might just be able to tell them apart. :D Now, I am hideously embarrassed and feeling quite stupid, but I think I entered Dragon in the Medowie shows before he's 3 months old. I have been counting down the weeks until he is 12 weeks old (which I think is 3 months old), but that's not right for show entries is it? Do they have to be 3 calendar months - ie. for him that would be 1st March. I have entered baby puppies before, but haven't really thought about the start of it, and by the end of the "baby" stage I am definitely going by calendar months and not counting weeks. Can someone clear this up for me? Hey Jess! Good to see you in here! I have to laugh - every time I see Leo's avatar pic out of the corner of my eye I think he's a pug! I would love to see him again soon! Aurea must nearly be as big as him now. How are his hot spots/funny bits going? Hey ...I am kinda slack around here..Lol. And who you callin pug??! Ar, well I can't wait to see the big girl!! Where will you be at next? Leo is at a stand still at the moment, not growing much- well not much for me to notice..I still look at his head sometimes though and think when is it going to stop!!! His grossness is pretty much gone! Atlast! His fur is looking great there now! But his coat change is still in full swing, and he looks like he has a giant bleached spot right on his bum! We are doing our best with the furminator and stripping block to get rid of it but it's bloody stubborn! We are going to be at Maitland, and Medowie (both the sat shows but not sun). Aziah
The Ark - he must be 3 calendar months :D just phone them up and advise you've made a mistake and he's not eligible.
The Ark
Bugger, bugger, bugger!!!! I only thought of it when I was driving home today - I'm sure I didn't do that with Chester. I am obviously just too keen and can't wait to have some fun with him. :D Looks like the Hillsborough ones will be his debut then. I'm too scared to ring up as I have a history of show entry "problems" (I think I must talk myself into them).
