blacklabrador
I just received a certificate for a dog that I bred from another state acknowledging me as the owner of the dog with "ET" on its name. Does this mean the dog achieved an title in endurance?
Janba
ET is endurance title. It is the only title you can gain at the moment in endurance. How nice that they send a certificate to let the breeder know. I never knew they did that.
Janba
In NSW you have the option that you want the breeder to recieve a certificate on the title application form. I usually fill it in (except last time when I forgot to take her address with me) because I think it is nice for the breeder.
Agility Dogs
I liked the bit about the test being cancelled if at any point during the test the temp reaches 24 deg. Guess that's why we don't run them that often in Qld! T

I ticked it when I was getting Jedi and Ahsoka's herding instinct certificates. I even had Jedi's breeder call me asking what a herding instinct test was!!!!! There's only one other keeshond in the country that herds so it's no wonder he had no idea!
RubyStar
Oh that's really nice! If they had that option in WA I would have used it (at least I didn't see the option!) because only last night, I emailed Ruby's breeder to let her know our CCD title was printed in the latest Canine News and she replied all happy for us and saying she will be boasting to all her friends and puppy buyers that one of her breeding is excelling in another field! Though I wouldn't call it excelling, I'd more call is scraping through by the skin of our teeth with not much of a bright future of getting much further
Gayle. If she has the letters CCD after her name, then you're doing a LOT better than Benson and I are. I have pretty much retired him from obedience trialling as the competitive dog world isn't quite ready for Bensons brand of obedience. It was something along the lines of....how many shades of red can the handler go and how far would she like to sink into the ground. But in true Benson style, he did it all with a big happy smile and a waggy tail!

Oh I have one like that, will only do so many drops before she starts to do her bowing then rolling on her back and praying to the biscuit Gold Judges love it but unfortunately can't award points for it We are taking a break for a while to see if we can get her to be serious I live in hope

Must be an Aussie thing Gayle, Jenna turns blonde as soon as she enters a ring, and on occassion you would swear that she had never had a days training in her life. Doesn't help that I get really uptight and she starts to stress too leading to all sorts of negative responses.

But in true Benson style, he did it all with a big happy smile and a waggy tail! I think I'd prefer a dog that shows me up in style! When Ruby doesn't want to work and that's usually at trials cos she can't be rewarded, she just looks bored as anything and I get embarrassed cos it looks like I have a dog who knows jack about obedience! But when we train, she's a psycho little devil and that embarrasses me a LOT! :p Now Rubystar, I've watched your beautiful Ruby work in the ring with you and you are a great team, I could well see you guys competing in UDX in the future. Aww thanks ozjen, very kind, but I'm thinking not! Would be a dream, though!! Doesn't help that I get really uptight and she starts to stress too leading to all sorts of negative responses. Don't say that! I am thinking about an Aussie for dog #3 in many, many years to come Jenna is a great little worker, and loving her trick repertoire! Have you entered anymore obedience trials lately?
