MTD
Hey guys I need your help again ;)For those of you who use it in the hydrobath, I think it is 1:100 dilution (is that right????) Anyway, does that mean for those of you with a 30 L tank, you have to put in 300ml for each bath?!! Or is my maths totally wrong? yep 10ml rinse to 1 litre water . Works out a very expensive bath that way . I put cordial/milk bottles filled with water in the tank , this increases the water level but of course less actual bath water thus use less rinse. Hope that makes sense. Edited August 17, 2009 by MTD
Baby Dragon
Thanks MTD!! That makes a lot of sense. What brand of hydrobath do you have where you can do that? Edited August 17, 2009 by Baby Dragon

MTD
Thanks MTD!! That makes a lot of sense. What brand of hydrobath do you have where you can do that? I have an old Conmurra bath ( 15 years ). You access the tank by lifting up the floor pannel. I presume the newer models are filled differently ;) Edited August 17, 2009 by MTD

I'm still looking for one I contacted mavlab and they told me you're only meant to use 20ml of the product per bath. Now I'm really confused How does that work???? That would make it a lot more economical but I don't understand it because the brochure I saw I thought said 1:100.
Aziah
That's very When I use it, I generally wash everyone first as I normally would and as each one is finished I dip them in a large tub with the appropriate dilution and they dry off them selves. Same solution for all dogs because they are already clean before being dipped in

I have no idea why they would say those rates . If it is rightI could have save so much money over the years. The only thing I can think of is that they think you only want to use it as a cleaner not as a insecticidal rinse OR they are giving rates for the Rinse Concentrate ( not pyrethrum one ) that has the same cleaning power and smell without an insecticide ;) Maybe talk with them again Edited August 20, 2009 by MTD

The leave on rinse is not intented to be a shampoo or cleanser. Then have your rinse ready made up in bottles and pour over the dog and let it just dry off. Do not towel the rinse off. badboyz
My animals never have fleas and I rarely use spot-ons, and use nothing on a regular basis. However we do get paralysis ticks, so I am still trying to find a product I am happy using regularly. This looks like a great product. I am wondering though, how it is safe for cats, as I thought Pyrethrums were dangerous to cats. I know Permoxin warns against using around cats, which is why I have been hesitant to get it. Ams, have you used it on your cats at all? Mine has been totally indoors for the last 6 years, but this year we have installed a dog door for the chi's and she is able to go out during the day. I was told it can be used in a hydrobath in the place of a leave in shampoo as it has cleansing properties Edited August 22, 2009 by Baby Dragon
