Jetty
My pup seems to make these funny noises when he sleeps. I have only just realised it over the weekend coz he has slept in our room coz he is injured and needed to be crated. it sounds alot like the hiccups but isnt. Does anyone elses puppy do this? Is it a health concern or is it nothing?
sandgrubber
I find a lot of pups make funny noises when they sleep. If the pup wakes up acting normal and there are no other signs of ill health, I'd say keep an eye/ear open, but don't worry.
persephone
Dogs are much like people- they snore/snort/cry/dream.... If it is constant noise, or is waking pup up ...see the vet. if it just occasional, and doesn't seem to bother the pup... just wait & see.

puggy_puggy
Totally normal and puppies and younger dogs will do so more the older ones. Part of their body growing and learning. I believe it is to do with REM sleep. As well as the yips and other sounds they will have often have body twitches. nickojoy
Puppy dreams are the best, especially when their legs move and they make funny noises.
