shad
hi all, just had an interesting question earlier tonight. My friend owns a dog and, for whatever reason, isn't sure if her dog is fully vaccinated or not. Would she still be able to play with my 9 week old puppy? She seems to think that she may carry diseases on her from her dog, and that she could transfer it to my puppy. is this possible?
missmoo
Hi, Anything is possible but I wouldnt be too concerned with your friend playing with your pup unless she is around very ill dogs all day. I would advise your friend to get her dog vaccinated then both your pup and her dog can play together (providing her dog is well socialised). puggy_puggy
You can always take precautions of getting her to remove her shoes and wash her hands before she plays with your puppy.
Joan of Arc
Precautions such as those suggested are excellent but I agree that it would be far more beneficial for all concerned if your friend had her dog vaccinated. Then she could bring her dog to Kirri and Kirri would be socialising with other dogs.
