smisch
I was looking to take Jock out to see some sheep finally.. He's come off a farm before I got him from the Shelter so it would be interesting to see how he goes, He seems to take to all the shetland sheepdog activites like a duck to water! He loves to work, we're training to possibly do our CCD towards the end of the year and he's doing well agility wise so lets try something natural.. So my question is are there any clubs in SE qld preferably that have herding.. I would like to see if he has the drive and if he does I would consider taking some lessons with him.. Thanks all! MrsD
Sam, try the Queensland Herding Association, I will PM you with a contact email, they should be able to help with info on training etc.
Dracdog
The Border Collie, Cattledog & Kelpie, Belgian Shepherd, German Shepherd Clubs do herding as well. I think you can get the numbers from the CCCQ website
