poodlefan
Hi Groomers! My old Liberty Stand Dryer is sounding a bit tired. It's probably not helped by the fact that I knocked it over a few months back. Anyhoo, I'm thinking of upgrading to a new one. Old Faithful was second hand and I'm wondering what's good in the market at the moment. My automatic reaction is to get another Liberty but are there issues with availability for Liberties these days? The Double K American one looks interesting and is meant to be quiet - anyone got one? What stand dryers do folk have that can also take a hose and what don't you recommend?
ellz
Have heard the Double K are good, but my next stand dryer will be an Oldfield.
Dogsfevr
We have an oldfield stand dryer & it melts the hose every time i use it so it sits there at present.I also find it too powerful for the setter coats. I still use the Liberty & have done so for nearly 20 plus yrs although it really comes down to the breed & the type of drying. We have the oldfield cattle dryer for the kennels which is super but the stand not as happy, they may have change things since our model
AnimalMad
I have an EZYCoat Stand Dryer..the hose also melts on this dryer so i use it without the hose. i'd reccomend the double k dryer i've heard great things about it
