Dental Care For Dogs

 Share

Recommended Posts

I have to clean the teeth of one cat and two dogs as they get gingivitis and bones don't help them. I use Mavlab dental. Dogs get a human tooth brush and cat gets a baby toothbrush.

I just dip the brush in the bottle and give their gums a scrub. Works a treat.

Just bones here as well for my lot, one cat who doesnt eat bones did have her teeth cleaned last year.

my oldest dog is almost 6, he had to get a lump removed, i told them to clean his teeth if they needed it, andthey said he was fine and didnt have to do it

If she's not big on raw chicken necks or frames, have you considered trying big chewy chunks of beef heart a few times a week, Teebs? Or lamb neck chops (chop the meat partially off the bone and let your kitty knaw it the rest of the way off)? My kitties love all of those dinner options, & I reckon chewy meat is just as important in bone in keeping cats' teeth in good order.

Sorry if it's OT, and sorry if I'm telling you something you already know.
