Muschee
Hi Folk's I'm normally just a lurker here, but recent problems with our 3 year old Bully bitch, that we've only had for about 6 weeks, has me asking questions. I'm just wondering if anyone else is or has gone thru the same hassles. The paw problem, the Vet has told me is caused by the staphylococcus bacteria, between the toes. It has infected the 'sinus's' between the toes. We've had all 4 paws scraped, flushed with hydrogen peroxide, put on antibiotic's as well as macralore (not sure if that's cortisone or not) 2 weeks later the problem was only evident in 2 places and the Vet has removed the sinus's altogether in each of her front paws. She is healing well and is still very happy, considering what she's been thru. Today tho I have noticed her back paws look like the staph is back, even tho she has been on the antibiotics Has anyone else had a similar experience and what has been done about it? We can't afford surgery again and wonder if there is another way of dealing with this? Any advice is appreciated.
