smisch
I should have probably asked this before I paid for them.. I entered Jock into Ekka in August in Agility and jumping (novice and Open but knowing my luck we'll have our JD title then!) Anyway got my reciept in the mail today.. but it has nothing about his height class or anything and hasn't asked me for it either.. so how does it work.. Im regesterd I have paid my enteries what next? Do I just sit and wait for a little while or is there something that comes out closer to the day or should I be calling them.. incase we can't tell smisch is a newbie with big shows.. Decided before my little fattie retires that we should do Ekka atleats once so why not! Thanks all!
Ptolomy
Hmm good point - I have entered and never realised that they didn't ask for height details - and whats scary is that I am not a newby!
ness
That just means Scoota jumps 200 Ptolomy - worlds smallest toller .
helen
I think you have to also attach the normal agility entry forms to the Ekka form, that is the way it works for Melbourne Royal, and I showed once at Brisbane and from memory it was the same, some of the people in the showring forum could tell you
Ptolomy
But I entered online and that took me 2 weeks, a call from whoever looks after the online entries, and umptine goes. Don't laugh Ness, Lexi isn't much bigger than a 200 dog

They should have that in bold large print.. thats okay I'll give them a call/send an email next week and find out what the deal is!
Nicole...
Let us know when you find out the answer Smisch! I got my stuff back from the other day sounding like all is sorted but I haven't had to notify them of Lomani's height as far as I can remember anyway. I can't believe how early the entries are due in - will be interesting to see if anybody is still in either agility or jumping categories we have entered by the time it comes around. Nicole...
So did anyone end up finding out what the story is with our heights? If not I might give them a call on Monday to ask. Also does anyone know what time the event starts?
smisch
I completely forgot this topic I rang them and the guy said the program had a glitch and so no height classes have been recorded but he asked me to email me my name, jocks name and the classes and his height catagorey for that class.. I selected the option to fax but just make a note that you have paid your enteries online.. I don't know what the email is it should be on the website though.. Sorry I can't be of anymore help SO to break it down email them the height or fax it to them.. we can't ring them cos they need it in writing to have the paper trail.. Nicole...
It's ok - I found out today that the catalogue gets re-written by one of our club members and she goes to all the trials around so would have the heights of most the dogs that compete here in SEQ. As for dogs that don't compete in this area, then I guess they would need to send theirs in still.
