The Spotted Devil
I just happened across a lovely vet who is very open to discussing vax protocols Makes a nice change from my (otherwise) fabulous usual vet who will only give a C7 to dogs or F5 to cats. If anyone would like the details please feel free to PM me
Elfin
She doesn't happen to be in South Road, does she? If so, she is the one we found after doing lots of research into vets that "think outside the square". She was wonderful when I took our pup there and asked for "minimal vaccination", and only gave us a C3 (she said she would only give Parvo vacc if we wanted). She also promotes raw feeding, minimal chemical treatment for worms/fleas (doesn't like spot-on treatments at all), titre testing and natural remedies. As we were leaving after our second (and final) puppy vaccination, she said "see you in a year for titre testing!". She also didn't condemn us for not wanting to de-sex immediately. mirajam
My vet in the inner north of Melbourne always discusses vaccination protocols with us, and delayed desexing on our little silky because she was so little! Our cat has dreadful reactions to vaccinations and we now have a vet letter saying she is not vaccinated on veterinary advice - the vet even offers to board her if we cannot find accom for her because of her vacc status.
