jkk
Hi I have a 10 year old staffy kelpie who is suffering from arthritis and spondylosis (fusion of the spinal bones). Since the cold weather has started she is having trouble standing up in the morning. She drags herself around almost on her backside until she warms up and is able to walk stiffly. It is heartbreaking to watch. She has Sasha's blend every day and also has anti inflammatory drugs from time to time as prescribed by our vet. She sleeps inside and wears a coat at night for warmth. She lives to play ball but this makes her worse the next morning. She is walked each day. I am hoping some Dolers may have some advice to help make our girl more comfortable. Thanks Judy
Dogsfevr
I have a dog the exact same. We seek a bowen therapy every month which does wonders. Hes on a daily dose of Aspirin but we use the one for heart suffers(cartia low dose) which is great. We are avoiding the heavy duty stuff until he really needs it. keeping him fit, exercising & warm is a must. We brought a special heat pack that straps on to his bad area which he gets each night before bed. Sadly there isnt alot you can do

Dogsfevr
Mine is called The original Bed Buddy. Its blue & has a velcro strap as you can strap it to your back & continue doing your thing. My boy happily wears it under his coat & it does really help. The chemist is where ours came from

CavsRcute
I use acupuncture for my girl who has HD and find this works for her. She has had one Bowen Therapy but I didn't notice much difference...maybe she needs more. What works for one doesn't for another.
