Blitza
I have a black tri 5mth old aussie shep, that has a head that lacks shine, yet the rest of her is shiny, i need ideas please. She is fed on Nutro - Natural choice for puppies.
espinay2
Looks like puppy coat, which your pup will lose with time. AS the rest is shiny, sounds like you are doing fine. you just need to give your pup time to grow up and get adult coat.
poodlefan
I'm no Aussie expert but it looks a bit fluffy.. does it need to be stripped of undercoat/dead hair??
Dogsfevr
Yep head is full of dead coat. You need to start plucking as it doesnt fall out by it self. All that red tinge is puppy/dead coat.

It doesnt hurt.Just brush it forward & pull. You could (if its ready to pullout) strip that out in a few minutes. Just pull the soft ,crappy stuff
Miranda
You may find that using a rubber thumb (one of those knobbly little caps that you put on your fingers to help them grip) will make it easier.
