IncrediJack
We went on holidays over Easter break and left our 18 month GR with the in-laws on a farm, which he loves and has stayed at many occasions previously. Ever since we have been back, he refuses to walk further than the end of the block. He won't even walk to the beach, which is so strange. He just lays down. He is still active running and playing in the backyard and is doing great in obedience training. There doesn't appear to be anything physically wrong with him . . . What gives? poochmad
Sounds odd. Have you tried walking him on the lead around the back yard? Maybe try there and then venture further and further away from your house?
OSoSwift
Has anything a little different happend while he was on holidays, Spooked by a Roo or something? Did he take himself for a bit of a walk and get in trouble at all? Other than that get someone to take you out in the car and walk him home so he has an incentive to walk. Lablover
Obedience training at a club or in your back yard? Breeds prone to hip and/or elbow dysplasia worry me. Any other symptoms, physically or mentally?
