Storm2008
Ok I have a a gorgeous Pure bred Amstaff, I love her to pieces, she is 11 months old..She is a very smart little beggar, we have had to padlock the gate because she worked out how to let her self out.. That problem solved.. Now when ever anyone comes to the door and we are having a conversation just outside the door she barks continuously, LOUD to the point of not being able to hear our talking, when you tell her too shoosh she does it more, its like she is saying lavish the attention on me "NOW".. The more you tell her the more she carrys on.. Any suggestions on stopping her, I know its normal for them to bark at strangers but she just Dont stop.. Its not an aggressive tone either.. Nekhbet
tried spraying her with a bottle? Say 'shoosh' and spray her at the same time so she knows what you're trying to convey to her with it. She probably doesnt understand what YOU mean and everytime you talk to her she ups the ante trying to get your attention again.
