JulesP
We have talked about when to pull out of a comp because of the heat but what about this time of year?? Tomorrow is 14 degrees, hail, rain & thunder!!! Do you soldier on regardless or do you have a cut off when you pull out?
Erny
You talking about an agility comp, or some other? If it is agility .... I would pull out if I thought the grounds were too unsafe (slippery) and/or if the equipment was wet and also slippery. I guess you take a punt on when to pull out. PAX
You can pull out the minute before you run, so if you enter and there is thunder and your dog is bothered about thunder, scratch. They will understand and wont really care, they will be grateful you have told them your not running. Lots of dogs get upset by the thunder and don't run their best. JulesP
Is herding. Will not be in the ring for long but I don't have an easy drive to get to KCC park. Through the hills.
