Amanda2
Hi Im looking for a good obedience club around the Flagstaff Hill area. We are looking for obedience and then hopefully agility training. At this stage were not interested in competing or anything serious, just a bit of bonding time and fun along with the training so i dont want to put him into a club that will push for him to compete or do anything he doesn't really want to do. Can anyone recommend anywhere? Thanks

Dova
Carole Husein is a good instructor, I'd recomend her if your looking for some where to train your dog, it's all reward base training for pet dog's.
Kempe
I'm a member of the Southern Districts at Wheatsheaf Rd Morphett Vale which would be the closest to you, training on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings
ness
Southern Districts is a traditional obedience club (and its my opinion these clubs are very much geared towards competition obedience) whereas the other two recommendations are more pet focused (and proper positive/reward based). jr_inoz
Dover Kennel and Obedience Club at Mitchell Park is actually closest to you. I am a member there and like it. Nice positive training. I havent felt at all pressured to do competitive things there. Holdfast is great but expensive. Dover has a yearly fee and no weekly class fees. Training Wed night and Sunday morning. http://www.doverdog.org.au/

Tay.
Southern Districts starts off with basic obedience and as the grades get higher it gets more into trialing stuff. They do agility there too!

Not that far - it is just off of Marion road - between Sturt Road and Oaklands.

See you there, I'm entering Izzi & Pebbles in the CCD, Pebbles will fail because of her non/stand for exam. but the more we do the better we'll get :p . I'm getting very, dog stuff, busy, we're doing our first herding trial on the 2nd & I've seen other obedience trial we might enter.

I might be going... either this one or the one at the GSD club on the saturday... depends which day my mum is working. It will be our first trial now that we've got all our dogs sa stuff organised haha! Jess will probably fail to cos of her stand for exam too! Which she was great at before the christmas holidays! Now she moves at least 2 feet! Any one going to the Norlunga trial in June??
ness
Probably going to Noarlunga - I am usually at all the trials just about :p .The SFE is one reason why my youngster isn't going to be entered. She doesn't have one yet its still a work in progress - just not sitting very high on the priority list. Edited April 22, 2009 by ness
Bully
I'm looking at doing both the GSDCSA and DGK&OC trials. Not keen on doing 2 days in a row, but they are both my side of town. Pele almost had another Novice leg at Para on Saturday but the little skunk blew the recall - she never does that
ness
Naughty Pele . I will be doing both of the obedience trials and hopefully Miss Ness can manage a UD pass soon .
