Tilly
Has anyone used Urban Dog Training - particular the puppy school for 8 week old pups? The run their classes at South Brisbane Softball Association - Preston Rd (off Meadowlands Rd), Carina... What do you think of them? You can PM me if you don't want to post your response. Many thanks

Tilly
I don't get my pup for 6 weeks - so can you please let know how you go ... if you end up going. I am particularly looking for a place that will allow my pup to see and be around other pups but not actually want his to play with them - we don't want him to see other dogs as "fun to play with" ... all his fun and play is to come from us. Some places I have come across are basically a puppy free-for-all with pups running all over the place.
Reddii
Hi, We've recently relocated our agility club to the same grounds and a couple of the urban guys come to our classes. They are pretty good people as well as having a good understanding of the dogs they work with. I've been down and watched a couple of their sessions. They are pretty well controlled - not free for alls and they seperate 16weeks and older from the younger dogs. 8 - 16 weeks is much open to anyone and then the 16 weeks and over play time is only open to clients with trusted dogs. Best thing I can suggest is go an have a look on a Sunday afternoon. I haven't seen one of their formal classes, but they seem pretty good with their own dogs and I've heard good things from (non-doggy nut) friends who have done basic lessons with them. Hope that helps. Tony
