Not that i know of..... plus we don't have a pool/dam in the backyard. If it is an infection, would I be able to see anything (i tried using a torch but it was all clean..) You may end up needing to get some drops from the vet to clear it up. Our dog has had it twice recently, and it is very common. Is your dog shaking head or scratching at all? Sometimes it can be deeper down and cannot be seen. Might be worth the trip to get them checked. It may only get worse and you have no way of knowing. huski Posted April 13, 2009 Share Posted April 13, 2009 (edited) What do you clean them with? I am constantly battling with Daisy's ears, she is very prone to yeast infections. It has been better since I eliminated grains from her diet, but she still gets them - I use the epiotic ear cleaner once a day when her ears are smelly and then once a week if they are cleared up. I would just start by cleaning them daily with a solution like Epiotic ear cleaner and see how he goes... but yes, eliminating grains can certainly help with yeast infections, I feed a raw diet, but you can certainly do it with grain free kibble Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
