Good Bye My Teddy Bear

On April 1st we said good bye to our sweet, ever loving girl "Teddy"

She had been our constant companion for over 8yrs, coming to us as a gorgeous 2 yr old.

Teddy always kept us amused with her tricks, learning to open the gate and letting everyone out when we weren't home. While the others were having fun running around the paddock she would sit at the top of the driveway and wait for us to come home.

She was always there to watch over the kids as they played and was never more than a few metres away from her Mum.

The day before she slipped away, we had a wonderful time enjoying a bath which included lots of cuddles and kisses, a nice roll in the grass and she looked so happy and content.

We knew that the time was coming that she wouldn't be with us, due to cancer but she was still active & eating well. She enjoyed her dinner and went to bed. She peacefully slipped away during the night.

She's left a huge hole in our hearts but we are thankful that she went peacefully.

We all miss you Teddy Bears. Run free at the Bridge.

A huge thank you to our neighbour and good friend Narelle for your support and help to lay Teddy to rest. All you have done is very much appreciated.

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts, very much appreciated.

Carlibud, I understand how you feel - I dread the anniversaries of our gone furkids - it's like going through it all over again.

Yes she was a very special girl and it was such a shock to find her gone. We knew it was only a matter of time but didn't expect her to go so quickly, especially when she was still so active. We understand that this was the best way for her to go but was such a shock..........

She'll be having fun with her old mate Moo and the rest of our guys waiting at the bridge. I said to OH today that I will be in heaven when I go - to see all my kids standing there waiting for me is something to look forward to.
