jm266
This is probably a Leopard slug, they are identifiable by their spots and stripes. They are excellent for you garden as they will eat snails and smaller slugs.

Paganman
Yes that is one of the slugs!! There are just so many of them.. Dont they go away when its cold?? Hey they like the cold.I once heard on the radio that they breed in autumn so if you go out on damp cool nites in the autumn and collect them and put them in a bucket and then get rid of them (I dunno how you get rid of then) the next year you wont have anywhere as near as many.I havent tried it so I dunno if it works or not
jm266
These slugs are the good guys of the garden world. They eat the pesky snails, less snails, less chance of the puppy bringing them inside. The only time I have seen them is at night and when it is damp. My mum who is a mad keen gardener loves them.
Paganman
I know slugs and snails like plants.Last year I planted some petunas in a pot and the next morning they were eaten and covered in slimy stuff
