So Confused By These Agility Rules

Recommended Posts

I found on the ADAA website these rules:

1.5 Membership and Registration

All Handles and Owners of any dog competing at a competition must be current financial members of ADAA, bound by its Memorandum and Articles of Association, Rules and Regulations

3. Dog Registers

ADAA has two dog registers, the IPR and the PRP. All dogs entered in a competition must be on either the IPR or the PRP and may only enter events appropriate for their register.

Well I have just entered a competition and I am not a member of ADAA.?? I thought being a member of the Victoria Canine Association would be enough just like for confirmation shows...my dog isnt on the PPR or PRP either :cry:

Is this a problem??? ahhhh

That's an ANKC competition. :laugh:

Stoopid question. If you're on the Gold Coast, shouldn't you be a member of the QCC???

I moved here, but am moving back, still a member in VIC but never changed to QLD. I just see it as a long holiday :cry:

You have to have a height card Heidi. FOR THE DOG :eek: you are sooooo funny Poodlefan!

Yeah, I'm a riot. :eek::eek:

Mind you, I don't recall ever been asked for my dogs' height cards.

I have been asked more than once for my cards, but my dogs were near a height change.

Yeah I think you only get asked if it isn't obvious. I have a BC that is around 455! I bet I get asked a lot if she stays in the 400 height category.

No doubt. I think of a few dogs running 400 that I'd like to see a measure on. :eek:

Poppy is quite little looking. Next to a 500 jump she looks really small. But she is a BC and people are used to them being in 500.

We've got a few definite 400 BCs at our club. But I do see some larger ones in the height. :eek:
