lappiemum Posted April 16, 2009 Share Posted April 16, 2009 Ummmmmmmmmmmmm look I didnt find him bad as a boss in general, he pays shit, is a bit dodgy, wants everything on the cheap etc, but I really miss working at the kennels etc, time of my life and a Job I absolutly loved!!!! But general its a good thing I no longer work for him We had Vern for our puppy preschool at our local vets, but only for one of our dogs. Was interesting...... Pockets Posted April 28, 2009 Share Posted April 28, 2009 No need to PM, I think the most important thing is that you go down to any boarding kennel and look for youself at the facilities and meet the people and then make a decision based on your observations and feelings on the place I am not sure who works there anymore Vern Ryans boarding kennels you can rock up anytime between the hours of 10am and 3pm and ask for an inspection and they will happily show you around the place Always important to check the facilities and people before leaving you teasured family friend anywhere IMO any kennel that wont allow you to see the facility, yards etc is not a place I would leave my dog :p I would highly suggest though Kepala Pet Resort, absolutly great facility and very very lovely people :p Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We like the vet (the older guy); Vern was ok, although I think there were a number of people in our class who found his dogs skills good, but people skills....??LOL After doing a bit of research, I found his post puppy school options to be at the expensive end of the scale.... so its disappointing that the fee wasn't being reflected in employee salaries. Thanks for your help WOW what can i say spent 2hrs out at Kapala Pet Resort today. The kids and ROXY ( staffy ) had so much fun running around in the dog runs what a place. Have booked her in for her 3 week stay and will be going out there every month before then for a play and swim. ps spoke to someone that had their dog at vern ryan for a week that helped me decide Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
