tlc
PPS, your daughter is such a doll, and she has the most beautiful eyes, are they blue or green, some of your pics they look blue others green. Fabulous shots!! Day 4 of my dog days diary, and I had to do one Sepia, I am thinking maybe I might have to change from 4 dogs to two or even one as I think when I look back at all the pics I have posted they all look the same..... TerraNik
TerraNik, I have always wanted to look through one of those!!! Great shot! Thanks... What you see down the ear is not very exciting TN Love the B & W can you actually buy those things and are do you know if what the vet uses for dogs ears is the same?? Thanks... Yes, you can buy them and vets do use the same otoscopes (ear) and ophthalmoscopes (eye) as us (human doctors), but the ear canal of a dog is L shaped, whereas a human canal is straight, so the disposable ear pieces you put on the end are MUCH longer in dogs (3 times as long roughly). TerraNik
The image is of the tympanic membrane (it captures the sound waves and turns it into vibration which then flows into your cochlear and gets transmitted into a nerve signal which then goes to your brain! You sure can see ear wax!
