Boxberry
Hello all, It is with great sadness we write the following, on Sunday the 22nd of March 2009 our beautiful boy Australian Grand Champion Belvurn Too Hot T'Handle (Imp UK) SOM - "Jamie" (AKA Phat Dog) made his journey to the rainbow bridge. In January this year Jamie was diagnosed with Haemangioma Sarcoma with a solid mass within the muscle of his left flank. Jamie was our one in a million dog, since his arrival in Sydney Australia on the 9th of September 1999 he was everything we could have asked for and more. He excelled in the ring and as a producer. From winning Best In Shows to producing Best In Show winners, he was admired by many across the globe. His tally of Champions thus far includes 13 Australian Champions and 5 overseas Champions, including his Multi Champion - Australian, English & Irish Champion Kirkgate Stand By Me At Belvern (Imp Aust) 'Chip' who is the only Boxer to hold this title combination. Aside from being a super show dog & producer he was our best friend. To us he won't be remembered for all his accolades, we will remember him for his beautiful nature and fun loving attitude towards life. There are so many things we could say about our Phat Dog but a few of our favourite memories of Jamie include him sitting next to us putting his paw/s up for a belly rub, when arriving home Jamie finding his favourite toy (a blue Cuz) walking around the house kidney beaning with the Cuz in his mouth trying to bark, nudging us with his velvety soft muzzle telling us it was time for a cuddle. His patience with puppies and beautiful manners with family, friends & visitors, Jamie was a absolute joy to share our lives with. We would like to sincerely thank Vicky Bell of Belvurn Boxers (now Surfstone) for sending us Jamie, our lives have been changed forever and we feel very privileged and honoured to have had the pleasure of owning such a wonderful example of the Boxer breed. Although Jamie lives on today throughout the world via his progeny, we feel his loss is the end of an era. RIP our beautiful Phat dog, we love you and miss you very very much.........
