Kirislin
Thought I should start a separate thread. Is anyone interested in coming along to a photography field trip to the Melbourne Zoo? so many of us have fairly recently bought new cameras, both point and shoot and DSLRs and I thought it might be a great way to get to know our cameras and hopefully have some experienced photographers to give us some pointers. I can go most day except Wed's and Sat's and the 3rd Sunday in April as it's our Whippet Fun day.
Guest Tess32
Sundays are best for me. At the moment no weekdays as someone else is on Hols at work. Though Easter weekend I'm ok too. Even this Sunday if anyone can, hehe. I was thinking of going.
anniek
Bugger - weekends I am usually either doing adoptions or promotions so not sure what I can squeeze in. Any day during the week is fine for me though. Please - just organise amongst yourselves, post the date, and I will see what I can do, although first Sunday of each month we have a promotion at Bittern Market so that date is always out. Annie eta Kirislin - if you want to go one weekday next week I would love to go. Any day suits me. Edited March 27, 2009 by anniek

Kirislin
Tess wouldn't Sundays be crawling with people? I would've thought it would be more busy than weekdays. Maybe we can set a date in a month or so and give people time to plan.
Guest Tess32
Depends on the day, I go only by the weather. When you have enough gear people give you space, hehe. I find generally it's ok on weekends unless it's a very warm sunny day and the chances of me going then are pretty low anyway. Most of the enclosures do require cloudy/overcast weather for a nice shot so I'd go with that more than worrying about the people, unless it's school holidays because that really is nuts sometimes. I also have FOTZ so while it takes me an hour and a half to get there, it's still kinda free, hehe.
