trishalouise
I went to a talk by Ian Bilinghurst last year and he said that he wasn't convinced that fish bones were safe so didn't feed them to his dogs. Something about being so fine and needle-like? Hence, I feed tinned sardines but haven't gone to other fish yet. Trish
Garden Girl
I have fed whole whiting (head off and gutted) to my dog and one dog loved it the other turned his nose up at it. I also threw them the heads when we were gutting them and they both ate them. I have given them salmon off cuts and ended up cutting them into small chunks which the dogs preferred over the whole long cut...I find they chewed them a bit more this way too.
