kayla1
Buddy the foster dog seems to have problems with sitting down - he doesn't actually sit, it's more like a squat. He's a heeler x staffy, about nine months. When he came into foster care he had a broken tail, but was vet checked a few months ago and the vet said all was fine. But his problem with sitting seems to have become more noticeable. He will be going back to the vet of course, but in the meantime any ideas about what could cause this? poodlefan
Conformation issues. Eg. Hip or stifle issues? An injury to the spine? Is the vet looking at xrays?
puggy_puggy
Looks like something is going on with his hips.
pointernuts
our Pointer girl had a similar problem, we found a excellent guy who works on Greyhounds, Bella has had only 2 sessions when has worked her back end and the difference is all most unbelievable, I would suggest that finding someone in your are through a Greyhound trainer would be worth while, we have taken Bella to a Vet lots of times and she did make some improvements but the Guy who works on Greyhounds is awesome. all the best and good luck
Gayle.
Pointernuts, can you PM the name and address of the greyhound guy to me please? I need to get Dusty looked at before we go back into the show ring as she "crabs" slightly in her gaiting and I'm almost certain it can be fixed with some manipulation but I want someone with a good reputation to do it. sas
How did you with this? My boy had trouble sitting (although not like in your photo) about 4 weeks ago and his back was out pretty bad.
