I've asked around on photography forums but theyre not too generous with help for newbies. I'd like to know where the best places to look would be and what reasonable prices would be, if possible. I've been looking at Canon models up to the 30D but have been warned not to go as far back as the 300D. Oh and I'm open to Nikon suggestions too! polomum Posted March 22, 2009 Share Posted March 22, 2009 Hi.......I bought my Nikon D80 and quite extensive kit on eBay (was an anxious mess until it arrived and had tested it)...Make sure the camera has a low shutter count and I actually phoned the guy before I bought it to find out a bit more about the camera - I could tell on the phone he was 'ridgy didge' honest!!!!!
