RubyStar
Anybody planning on coming to WA in October for the Obedience Nationals or May next year for the Agility Championships? Yep, me! Oh, I'm already here. Well, I hope to be ready for it in that case.... Only if I win x-lotto Ptolomy (or better still find a job in WA ). You know you wanna come
RubyStar
Is the State and Nationals open for anybody to enter, or are they invite only for the best of the best?
whitka
RS the nats are for anybody to enter so no excuses
Tassie
Superminty and TSD - you guys are really raising the bar a bit high, aren't you? And WTG Ness getting Miss K to enjoy that mock trial (just about to watch the vid.). Hey Ptolomy - I'm planning to come over for Agility Nats April/May next year - hope it all works out. Haven't been to Perth for a very very long time, and it seemed like a good chance - and Rorys breeder can see how the little man has grown.

I hear that people are already booking accommodation for the agility nationals - so don't leave it to long before you look for somewhere to stay. and keep your eye out for cheap airfares
RubyStar
RS the nats are for anybody to enter so no excuses So I expect to see you here, then eh? What about the State obedience trials, though? Anyone shed any light on this for me please? Edited June 29, 2009 by RubyStar
ness
RubyStar - pretty sure the WA States are open to anybody - even Miss Ness has a CDX pass from the WA State trials - along with a qualifying ribbon . Should also add it was her first trial in open and 3 trials later she polished off pass 3 for her title all while on holiday . ness
Nah thats not an excuse Whitka . WA has always been kind to me but not sure Ness could match it with the big names and midget dog probably won't be mature enough to handle the additional stress of trialling interstate. RubyStar
Sounds like you're the one with the excuses now, ness
whitka
Well I could sneak into someones lugguage and see how that goes and as for dogs I could eaither take the white fluffy thing and die of embarresment or the black devil and die of embarresment
ness
I am full of excuses RubyStar. The plan was to originally have Kenzie ready but I still think I am pushing my luck and probably not worth upsetting her by chucking her on a plane at this point in her life. Ness is almost a bit past it now and I am having to rethink my plan of trying for her UD and thinking it might be to hard for her .
ness
Besides which we all know those WA dogs are in a class of their own ANYWAY so what hope have I got . I couldn't even finish off a third place behind two of their top dogs at the Royal last year.
RubyStar
Then Ruby doesn't belong in WA if WA dogs are meant to be good I guess she'll have to do, though! Millie is a NSW/ACT dog, but the jury is still out on that one whether she will do WA proud or not I'm hoping to have my girls ready (Ruby for Novice, Millie for CCD) by October, but I haven't trained properly in months. So it's looking doubtful. I don't want to push them, either.

RubyStar
Sure. Cos our SFE's pretty much suck so you're definitely welcome to ours I honestly don't know how we bluffed our way through 3 passes with the quality of ours
ness
Hmm got to be better then Kenzie who doesn't have one at all .
whitka
Thats the one thing Toby was so good at, his stays and SFE were always solid. He has never once gotten up or moved during the stays and never even moved a foot during the SFE. Gee what does that say about my dog he's perfect when he deosnt have to anything Edited June 29, 2009 by whitka
piper
Ok, I rarely post in here as I rarely compete in anything. but.... My BIG brag for the weekend (or year cos I don't think I can top it) is Jazz had her first ever herding trials today, we had never even put sheep through an obstacle, and came away with 2 High IN Trials with scores of 99.5 and 98.5 out of 100!!
