laffi
Seems like my aussie shep is injured as she is refusing the jumps . The local vet couldn't determine what was wrong with her and just gave some painkillers and told me to rest her for a couple of weeks. That didn't really help as she still refused to jump today after 2 weeks of rest So I need a recommendation of a good chiro/vet who is knowledgeable about agility/sport dogs Thanks so much! Vickie
Helen Nicholsen has treated a number of agility dogs in Sydney. She is fully qualified with a Masters in Animal Physiotherapy & practices at various locations around Sydney. I took one of my dogs to her years ago & she treated him with great success. http://www.k9physio.com/ I had previously visited a greyhound guy with my dog & got a "quick adjustment" but the problem did not go away. Helen's solution took time & required diligent exercises from me, but it was worth it as the solution was permanent & I learnt a lot in the process.
