Ravyk
I'm looking at starting my 3yo Terrier X in Agility and my 2yo Cattle X in Flyball. I'm rather new to this area of dog sports-never really thinking about doing it until now, so bear with me and my probably stupid questions. Can I enter my two dogs in beginners at the ages they are? Can I enter them even though they are mutts? Where are some clubs in Adelaide? preferably down south What kind of prices am I looking at [fees, equipment, etc]? What kind of equipment would I need to buy myself? What kind of training/feeding regime would I need to put my dogs on?
Miss Squish
Hi Ravyk The closest club to you with both agility & flyball I think would be Dover gardens. Your dogs can start at any age but may have to have a certain level of obedience training first. At my club you have to have at least grade 4 to start agility. All dogs mutts/ pure breed can do dog sports :D I think to start off your dog just needs a flat collar, no check chains etc Not sure about fees for Dover gardens club you may have to ring them to find out all the info you need. Im as Southern districts at Morphett vale, we have agility but not flyball. Agility is great fun & Im sure your dogs would love it! Hope that helps!
