*Avanti*
Both my Labrador girls get the occasional ear infection/irritation. The vet said it is the grass allergy thing (long story but it is currently ‘managed’ to a minimum). Last time I took Bella to the vet for it he said it was only external and gave me some Surolan to put on the outer part of her ear (still inside but not right inside). Lately she seems irritated again and I have started re-applying the medication. She shakes her head a bit and I am not even sure which ear is giving her trouble. I am just wondering if I might be able to keep a better watch on them with one of those instruments to look into ears. Does anyone know if this would be ok and if it is how I might be able to obtain one.
poodle3081
Clipper World sells an inexpensive tool that has a magnifier and light for looking in the ear.
puggy_puggy
Could also be a food allergy. Otoscope is what the instrument is called. http://www.economedical.com.au/category/otoscopes/
*Avanti*
Could also be a food allergy. Thanks but after extensive elimination diets I have accepted that it isn't food allergy. Otoscope is what the instrument is called. http://www.economedical.com.au/category/otoscopes/ I just found out the name today and found this one. Does anyone know or have experience with these? http://www.aussieotoscope.com.au/main/page...t_otoscope.html Couldn't see any at Clipper World poodle 3081. Anyway thanks for the feedback folks.
