tez
Everyone! Its been awhile and there were pages to catch up on! Yah...JJ's back Looks like everyone had a great/good/alright chrissy! Ours went well and the puppies mostly behaved themselves although we did lose another remote in the chaos of visiters! Chrissy breakfast went well with my parents liking my new friend (I'm too old to call him my boyfriend so he shall be called 'my new friend'!). He was abit nervous and I was s#@ting myself but it all worked out in the end! Having this new friend has made me very time poor so I'm not on the puter as much as I was. The good news is that he likes dogs and has two himself although his lab is very old and frail and may not see the Autumn. The bad news is that he finds my two er..energetic..some would say uncontrollable puppies alittle too excitable! Its going to take awhile to get him to bond with Jane due to her unfortunate habit of jumping up and then inserting her nose up his butt. For some reason, he takes offense at this even though I keep telling him its her way of saying she like him
Tim & Tanya
Hey guy's I'm back and ready to catch up with everyone for a walk... Let me know if any of you are going in the nxt few days....
tlc
Hi Tez, so glad it all worked out great, I t must have been nerve racking for you with your parents meeting your "new Friend" for the first time. Im also sure he will in time grow to love Jane, how could you not love a face like hers. I bet he warmed to Gus immediatley?!! Are you still go to go for next weekend Sun 9th at Bunnings 11am? who did you decide to bring? I am getting ready and organizing some flyers for the day. Trish may come with a new pup, same breeder as Nova so pup will be havanese just dark in color. Sad news is Nana Nike went to doggy heaven just before Christmas so it will be strange not to see her around at dog school.

jerojath
Hey welcome back Tez! Remote controls? I understand...... This is Tarni's Christmas surprise for me Unfortunately, replacements are unavailable and 'universal' type remotes wont work with this model. Of course. Sooooooo $100 later we have a new HD receiver WITH a REMOTE!!!

jerojath
So what's everyone up to for New Years Eve? I think I will be having a very quiet night... haven quit smoking AND drinking I think it best I avoid situations that may prove "tempting". Maybe a nice Chinese dinner at home with the kids! J...
Nothing exciting here - already been out and taken the dogs to the beach for a swim and a run. Do some inside stuff that I need to do, sit down with a stack of DVDs and have a movie marathon under the A/C. Going to be too hot to do much more :D

'Pea Soup'. Unfortunately dogs aren't allowed there. Been out snake hunting this morning. They weren't exactly thick on the ground today... even too hot for THEM! :D
GSDs
Not much going on here for New Years either. Been out for a walk with the dogs this morning through the bush reserve down the road. You should see how high the vegetation is...I reckon it would be at least 3-4 feet high, maybe more in places and the council have the cheek to send us all reminders to keep OUR grass short!!!! I dare not walk off track over there in case I come across a slippery sam! Reckon you'd be in snake heaven there JJ. I remember a couple of years ago, a snake caused a great deal of angst when he decided to take the scenic routeup the main street footpath. If I'd seen it I would have been up the nearest phone pole. :D Think I'll bed the dogs, cats, sheep, and chooks down for the night and see what's on the TV. ;) Theresa
tlc
Well I'm about as energetic as you guys, I am home from work (THANK GOD!!!) it was so hot out there although better doing a morning shift than an afternoon! Had 3 NYE invites but decided to stay home with the air con. Jess your guys are lucky getting in an early morning run, I had to be work at 7 so mine missed out and way too hot to take them now. My oldest one detests the heat the other 3 are not too bad!
Tenties
Well ithink you may all be a tad cooler than us we lost power at around 1:30 pm and have been slowly melting away....I had a spare bag of ice in the freezer so the dogs out the back got a kitty litter tray with ice in it and the dogs inside got ice in their big water bowl.....the power has just come back on, the dogs new what it was as the microwave bips when it comes on and boy did they get excited, must be learning from me i think Hope everyone has a great night, im staying home, see you all next year
jerojath
Tenties I don't know what it got to today, but my car read 42 degrees at Tower Hill at lunch time. Glad your power is back on. Do you have A/C? If your power goes again and it's too much for you, you are welcome around here for the evening! We have air conditioning!!! tlc - Screw working on a day like this... too hot and too nice! You should have called in sick!
tlc
Arghhhh no power I would die. Work wasn't so bad, I think because I started at 7 before it got too hot but by gee it was hot when I left at one! But I was a bit excited when I got home as my boss rang me to see if I could help him out with giving someone else extra hours and what that means for me is a day off YAY!!! :D So now I don't have to work Sunday!! I decided to bath the doglets this arvo, well 3 of them any way, and they got to drip dry outside on the pergola, only took about 10 mins and they were all dry, they look so funny not bow dried, they go all curly especially Lacy as she hasn't been clipped yet. They are all inside now sleeping all except Tully who has her head in the toy bo fishing for toys. SHe has one ball on a rope and she will not rest till it is totally destroyed. And me well I am mucking around on the computer and eating a huge big toblerone. 4 bits and I have had enough!
