LOL I should get a pic tlc but a black dog in a midnight blue blanket probably won't cut it. Plus Zee has gutted a $2 toy and last night's fish and chip paper (the outside 2 sheets) all over my study floor and I haven't picked them up yet and guess where Darcy was lying. :D

She seems ok, no hot or touchy spots and she was ok with a gentle stretch so it's nothing major.

tez I'd forgotten how wet the Knox ground gets - the bottom section is really low and it's quite uneven and was pretty soft underfoot. Great grip as the dogs can really dig in and turn but I believe it makes their job that bit harder when jumping. The tops rings were pretty much mud from rope to rope from the soccer but at least they weren't slippery - I wouldn't have run Darcy if that was the case.

JJ, still have the purple people eater :D That is now OH's work car!

Tez, the color would you believe is called Turbine, or better known as gun metal grey. The Berlinas internationals were a limited edition and only made in the one color and just 325 of them made in Australia.

Photos to follow shortly

Pandii, Sorry to hear Seb is sick whats wrong with him, hope it is not serious?

A day of mixed emotions for me yesterday (as it always is) as I said goodbye to the latest Jerojath babies. :o

Up at 4:00am bound for Tullamarine where I loaded them on to their respective Jets as they head off to various locations around Australia to start new lives with doting new families.

I never have trouble saying goodbye when I am handing them straight to the new owners, but there is something very impersonal about crating them up and loading them onto a plane. It almost feels very "business-like" which I hate. There isn't the oportunity to see the joy on the new families face or the excitement from the puppy at getting pats from someone new...

It was nice on my way home though to get phone calls from everyone to tell me they had collected their new red babies and were thrilled.

Also got lots of calls last night telling me all about their puppies.... "He can do this".... "She can do that"....

It's hard to not just say: "Yes I know! He's been living here until this morning, remember?"...

MY little man Vitasz was very sad last night having lost ALL his brothers and sisters in one foul swoop. At least he has his Mum, big Sister and Auntie Amy to look after him. I'll have to try and get out on a walk with him soon so you can meet him!

ETA - I'm heading off now, so enjoy the Million Paws Walk.

:cry::cheer::cry::o:o:o

I am still unpacking things ;) call it stocktaking,i put something in one spot then change my mind later when i come across something else that i think will look better there  i am a shocker, a friend even told me the other day that i have way too much stuff but understood my buying little things when i come across them as that is what they do..... ( i buy olden days stuff, i love the little bits and pieces i find in op shops or Antique shops like the wooden butter paddles or a crystal bud vase :o )

tlc, very nice car, sure you still want to associate with us lesser peoples i suppose we can expect you to drive past us now doing the royal wave...

Im not real sure when the BBQ will be everyone, im kinda broke for a couple of weeks yet, still have to rent a ute to get the dog stuff from my sisters place and also to tow a float to get the ponies out here..... but when it happens it will be great to see everyone

Tlc...have I got a great idea or what! Ready...ok...lets swap cars!!! Now we can meet half way or I can come to you. I will very generously fill the tank too!

Poor you JJ. You must be just about exhausted by now. Glad to hear all the puppies are healthy and well after their exciting trips. Are you keeping Vitasz?

JJ, I don't know how you do it with the pups, I would be bawling for days  Great that the buyers keep you informed how the pups are going, it must be great getting updates on them all. I was going to ask the same as Tez, also how do you pronounce his name ie: Vitasz/Vytasz?? Definatley be up for a walk to meet the litte guy. Maybe we could do a walk one day at Albert park, its been great up there latley minus the horses but we have coped with them when they have been there, actually I have been pleasantly suprised with my lot they have been very well behaved around the horses we have come across latley.

Tez, re: the car ..........NO :D imagine my 4 in the back of your car, what a sight  although now you have two you might have to upgrade to a doggy wagon like me. Mind you I think the OH is going to drive me spare with keeping it nice and (new) looking, what a joke with my four but I will try. :D

The MPW was excellent I will post some photos later, they came out ok considering I was only using the little point and shoot that I can't stand!

Tenties sounds like you are still having all the fun joys of shifting in. It will be RJ's turn next!! If and when you have the BBQ Im sure everyone will be happy to bring thier own meat and drinks, we could all bring a salad and all you would have to supply is the gas for the BBQ!!

Sorry to hear about Sebbi Pandii - I hope he's feeling better soon!! Darcy seems good today other than a case of the sulks when she didn't get to do any agility this morning  Oh the injustice of it all!!

Nice car tlc - Looks like it's in great condition!!

JJ - that would be so hard. I was talking to someone yesterday at Knox about a lady who breeds Shelties but she had about 10 of them. Someone asked her if she kept one from every litter given she had so many but no she actually kept the only two litters she'd bred because she couldn't bear to part with them. :D

Tez I was talking to Jan today at Warrnambool, I believe you guys know each other by phone for work? :D Hey if you want a really stable local dog for Gus to meet let me know, Darcy is just awesome with pups. How's he going - settling in well?

Tenties I don't envy you unpacking. You'll feel great when it's all finally done though.

Does anyone ever look at their dog and wish they could bottle and use just some of their energy levels? Zee's had a massive weekend including her first agility foundation class today and she's still going... If I could only steal just 10% of it I reckon I'd get far more housework done :D

I agree with you Jess, even a little of the energy my 4 have would make my day more productive

If the Jan your talking about is the one I think it is, her OH is my boss!! Does she do obedience at Harris St with Brown Lab Abbey? or is it a different one?

tlc, it would be great to have it soon but i havent got the fences done as yet so i still have to wait.....i'd rather have things done than not .... i panic enough as it is, that one of the fur kids will get on the road so i'd rather just get it done....by the way peoples GTS in Lava street have rolls of wire mesh pretty cheap, i'm going to buy mine from there now that ive discovered it..i bought that plastic trellis stuff from Bunnings last week only to discover each roll is a different length  oh well at least its only for one piece of the fence on the drive side.

Yep that's her, Jan's great value - such a lovely person  :D

I have only ever met her once and that was a long time ago, she doesn't come to any work functions with her OH, but I did speak to her on the phone the other day and she sounded Lovely!!

Tenties - I actually thought of stopping to see you on the way home as I saw your car there but was pushed for time as I had a birthday dinner to get to as soon as I got home.

Yes have council approval and Vitasz will be staying here unless I am not happy with him over the next few weeks. Sounds harsh, but I don't have the space for a whole lot of 2nd rate dogs who can't be shown (I've already got a couple of them!!!).

It's pronounced Vie (like 'pie') Tarsh. Vie-Tarsh. Named after his Sire who he resembles very much.

Glad the MPW went well - Look forward to some pics.

tlc - you have as many dogs as me! Soon you'll be hunting for a dog trailer to keep that new car clean!

Ha don't even joke about it  it has already been recommended by a few people. Just couldn't see myself hooking a trailer on and off every day, to much like hard work plus our place is not set up to back yard access for vehicles, while we have the room we don't have the means to access it, and no room out the front as we have a steep front yard and drive way. Not sure I could see my lot in a dog trailer, I think they would sook too much, although I wouldn't hear them would I :D

Well I like your little fellas name, do you have any recent pics? How did you go about council? When I got my permit for Bron, they did a door knock in the area to check with neighbours and make sure they were all fine about it and that was it. Also they ask that all the dogs be registered but that goes with out saying! Haven't got to the pics yet, I am back and forth to hear while cooking my Lamb roast dinner.
