Hi all :birthday:

Sorry I haven't been on for a while, been checking in occasionally but always just a quick pop in and out... good to see everyone is well and happy and hope I get to see you all soon...

tlc, you are rubbing it in that I am gonna be away :happydance:

I can't believe that the first time you are doing it here, I am away for the first time since the walk started in Warrnmbaool about 7 or 8 years ago :cooldance:

Damn my bro's wedding, he could have planned it earlier or later, don't you all reckon :welcome:

Pandii, its a great morning out and barking, noisy dogs having fun are all part of the atmosphere... relax and enjoy the variety of dogs there, pure bred, mixed breeds and rescue mutts and help to raise some much neede money for our local shelter :(

Thanks to all of you that are gonna go and raise money for the Warrnambool shelter, its our biggest fundraising event of the year and boy do we need it, the shelter is overflowing at the moment with both dogs and cats :)

Mawson will be thinking of you all and dreaming about leading the walk as he normally does while he is locked up at the shelter  BUGGER!!!!

Hi all!

Jane and I went last year when she was still a pup and we had a great time! No barking noisy dogs that I remembered...just friendly ones of all shapes and sizes!

Planning to go this year but how far we get will be up to Jane and her talent to stop and prop! Should be fun though...especially if I remember to bring the ezywalk harness!

Weather wasn't too bad either...especially for w'bool near the beach at that time of year!!!

She went for an ultrasound the other week and there were no puppies to be found. :mad Suzanne said her spleen is nice and healthy though. Looks like we'll have to try again in July/August. Vegas is the last of that line, so I would really love something to go on with from her.

:( Bugger - fingers crossed for her next season!

Thanks Jess.

 Instead of crossing your fingers, do you reckon you could do me a favour and cross ALL your body bits for her next season? ;)

It doesn't fit with her symptoms - apparently most dogs with spey incontinence tend to dribble, particularly in their sleep, and don't even realise. Zee knows she needs to go and goes right there, regardless. But it's really hit and miss, she had one accident Sunday night and hasn't had one since (touch wood!).

Oh, O.K. then, it was just a thought. Maybe she's the exception to the rule? ;) Mine always have to be that little bit different :D

We've been doing lots of practise with my electric razor for her belly shave - she hated the dremel when I did Darcy's claws with it and I never even attempted to do hers. I suspect it was the high pitch. Anyway I didn't want her to be totally terrified at the vets on Tuesday. :( Man I love that Control Unleashed book - she's gone from refusing to go anywhere near it running to accepting it on her back belly and legs in 3 nights.

She's having a belly shave? That should be a good look until the hair grows back!

Vegas didn't have to be shaved for her ultrasound. Now don't laught, but I did run my laptop mouse (its much smaller than the regular one) over her tummy a couple of times the night before she went to the vets so she knew what to expect. Whatever works I reckon!! :(

tlc, I won't be going as it's really hard to get away from home at the moment with all my oldies and Terry's shift work, but have a great day. :vomit:

Tenties....how's things going with the house, dogs, cat, car, moving etc.... :vomit:

Jeez, that's a bit rough, especially when they charge like mallee bulls AND want it all up front!!!!

Maybe you should ring them last thing Wed night, or if you still don't have an answer, first thing Thursday morning...just to make sure. Whenever we've bought something from a store that says they will deliver but won't give a time, we say that we need to know ASAP because we both work and therefore might not be home when they come. That usually works

I have my fingers crossed that it all goes smoothly for you. :)

I feel for you Linda I have shifted soooo many times in the last 30 years, I just couldn't fathom doing it again, it's too much like hard work.

Hope it all goes well and you are enjoying your new digs soon!!

 Thats great news CB, you must be so excited!! Please keep us posted on mums progress and look forward to puppy shots when they arrive.

Shannon and I were lucky enough today to spend the morning helping out with the SEDA dogs who are now around 9 months old. Also you may remember Pickles, Lauras SEDA pup, well today was his last day in town he is off to the next chapter of his life now to train to become a Seeing eye dog. Im sure he will do really well as he is great dog. Ill miss seeing his face around the place.

Here is some photos of the morning.

It was a great morning and we really enjoyed ourselves as did Maws and Coop, but I don't think they will be leading any blind people around any time soon even though they thought they were honourary SEDA dogs  Thanks to Laura for asking us to come and help out!!

Wow...what a great day you guys had Tlc! Thanks for sharing the pics. I can believe how grown up looking Pickles is!

Looks like all the doggie ( and people) had great fun!

I hope Cooper wasn't too exhausted trying to keep all those energetic Labbies in line. No doubt he had a good lie down afterwards!

Tenties...Hi! and congradulations to finally moving in and (hopefully) relaxing in your new home. Fingers crossed your next move is years and years from now.

Cavelblaze...woohoo to new puppies! When is she due????

Well we haven't had the best luck in finding another dog but we are off to meet a breeder next week who has a six month old dog for us to meet. Hopefully he will like Jane as much as she will like him!
