jerojath Posted May 15, 2011 Author Share Posted May 15, 2011 Hey tlc great pics as always of the MPW. Looks like a vast array of pure breeds and cross breeds alike. I recognize quite a few in the pics too.... just from around the area walking etc. Glad the weather was ok for it... how were the numbers? Mawson may have an idea on that one. Just hope not too many decided to stay at home due to the forecast of rain. Mum had a great day today for her 60th. Her best friends came up from Melbourne for lunch and she just loved spending the day catching up with them and showing-off her Grand-children! She was unsure what the Kindle was when she opened it.... she seemed a little confused and said "what's this?" thinking it was a diary or something as we also purchased a stitched leather 'wallet' for it so she couldn't tell what it was. When she opened the wallet and saw it was a Kindle she dead-set squealed! She was so excited. She was really grateful for having had so many great novels already loaded onto it too. During the afternoon She (jokingly!) told us we all need to leave now, as she wants to put her feet up and read on her new Kindle . So I think it's fair to say she was pretty pleased with it. Not sure on numbers, I do think there wasn't as many as last year but the weather was a lot nicer last year. Still a good crowd though. And all very well behaved which was great! Tanya did you see the huge one with all the wrinkles around his face, he was a really brown color with a bit of white. We couldn't stop looking at him he was amazing! Well the weather has turned back to crap today, im off to the doctors this arvo to see if they can fix my toe, I've put up with it for long enough and as much as I hate doctors I decided to bite the bullet and get my arse in there! Oh and thanks heaps for putting the pics up on fb, I have tagged my sister and cousin that live in QLD, they can't get over how big Bruno is I dont actually think my cousin believed me when I was telling her, and my sister was like OMG, he so big and she only saw him last year... Well I think RJ when you do move west it wont be that much warmer since it is only about (guessing) 10 kms your moving. No work for me today due to toe! tlc Posted May 17, 2011 Share Posted May 17, 2011 Yep ingrown toenail, well the doctor thinks thats what it is. They won't do anything with it while it is so infected however, it does feel slightly better today, probly because i have had no shoes on for nearly 24 hours. Still looks gross though. I havent had an ingrown toenail for about 18 years and i remember it like it was yesterday, had to have the procedure to have the nail removed no nice at all! jerojath Posted May 17, 2011 Author Share Posted May 17, 2011 Yep it's a really horrible thing to have. I had two years ago and the Dr's spent many months trying to correct them time and time again. Seemed like a waste of time as in the end they had to remove them anyhow... would have been a lot less bother to have done that in the first place! They will be happy after when they come in as I am going to watch a movie, I'm sure they love it as they all snuggle around and keep me company and nice and warm! I love it too! The only 'problem' with ours is that 'Dad' is about 80kilos too few, and my boy is taller than my eldest girl, which Jess is NOT happy about! I like them!
