It may not work but could be worth a try! I try to plant some up for you soon! So glad you are finally getting some action at the hospital! Looks like 2011 will be a much better year for you...at last :rolleyes: I went to a farmers market today and saw THE BEST water bowl for the dogs! It was a big old volcanic rock that was angle grind(ed?) so it held a decent amount of water. It looked beautifully natural and would keep the water nice and cold but sadly it was $100 so I had to walk away empty handed! It would have looked great sitting under the tap in my rockery garden Bad luck about the weather today making the walk impossible! Can't believe how cold it is! Surely the weather has got to improve soon! Lacey looks suitably impressed with her prezzie! She's a very lucky girl! Is she off to the hospital for a visit tomorrow? Tenties Posted December 20, 2010 Share Posted December 20, 2010 Well i dont know if i can make Wednesday now :D I had one of the Dogs come down on Friday Night with what i thought was Kennel Cough, but she only had it for 24 hrs (really bad ) and is hardly making a sound now...then another got the same thing Saturday and another 3 from Saturday arvo till Sunday and one this Morning, about 4 yr ago my friend in Geelong got the vet to come to her place as she thought she had Kennel Cough but i told her it wasnt and the Vet didnt think so either, he felt it was a virus of sorts and what my dogs have now is pretty much the same ,a 24hr virus. Lots of Mucus being brought up and left on the floor ( for someone with bung eyes to step in :D ) they actually sound like they have Broncitis, no loss of Appetite either, i have kept looking for Kennel Cough signs but havent seen any that i recognise throw me some thoughts people, i wish JJ was here so we could bang heads together on this , it helps thrashing some things out. Re: the Kennel cough, I agree about Jj being here, hope he will come back one day, I miss him in here not the same without him. Two of mine had a coughing thing ages ago but it wasnt severe, I rang the vet and he thought it was Kennel cough but only two of them had it and the other two escaped it. I think mine got it from being around a dog we see often at the dog park, he had a cough and when I asked the owner about the dogs cough he said oh yea he has been coughin for a couple of days. Anywa by the next day mine were coughing I just kept them quiet for a couple of days and they came good, the coughin got worse if they run around so no walks and they came good. Maybe what your lot have got is a very mild case like mine had?? We had out Christmas hospital visit today, it was great dogs dressed up and looked very christmassy, will post photos shortly. Tenties Posted December 22, 2010 Share Posted December 22, 2010 Well, i am coming into town tlc, but reluctant to go on the walk with you as i dont want to spread the Xmas cough i have 7 now that have had or have it at the moment, but out of 7, 2 have reverse sneezing instead of the rattles ????? never heard or seen these symptoms before, very strange..... i might drive up there and say hello , if i remember..... Your dog got on so well with my lot although mine are pretty cruizy apart from Tully and her pensity to keep other dogs are arms length. will definatley have to do it again soon. Tenties Posted December 22, 2010 Share Posted December 22, 2010 Well i had full intentions of getting up there tlc but i ended up driving my Mum around doing bits and pieces getting them out of the way, my Mum lent her car to the "grandson " and she hasnt got a car any more if you get my drift hope you all had a great walk though, im back into town again tomorrow and again Friday ...yuk... i hate Christmas !!
